Goals:

To provide shop drawings for and supply (3) uniquely shaped 13 ½” x 4 ½” “Side Curved” glulams with additional fabrication at the manufacturer.

Achievements:

To achieve the specific shape of “Side Curves” the glued-laminated beam orientation was rotated, larger laminations were used and a band saw was utilized at the manufacturer to shape the inside radius of the curve. The beams were also P.E.T. (Precision End Trim) for immediate onsite staining and installation. Furthermore, we delivered our beams at the agreed upon price and right on time.

Wood Specifications:

Curved, Architectural Grade, Douglas fir Glulam beams, with 24f-V8 UnBalanced Layup as they are more ornamental, with Standard Moisture content.
