Goals:

To highlight a warm and inviting bar space with a row of symmetrically aligned and curved glulam beams. A concealed fabrication technique was also used to join the uprights and arched beams.

Achievements:

9 custom and tightly arched Glulam beams, that interlock at their base via kerf cut and tongue & groove design to achieve seamless transition from vertical to high arching curve.

Wood Specifications:

Douglas Fir, Architectural Grade, Thin laminations to achieve inside camber of 4’-3”.
