Goals:

To provide shop drawings for and supply (8) large and heavy Radius curved Glulam beams, with accompanying webs and bottom chords, that were assembled by the customer onsite into trusses. Some beams came Precision End trimmed, and some with Wild Ends for fitment.

Achievements:

The manufacturer loaded and secured the large and heavy glued laminated beams in such a precise way that offload by the customer was safe and easy. We delivered our beams on budget and right on time. The arched beams were wider and heavier than typical trusses of this type but with effective and continuous communication by the driver with the customer our delivery went off without a hitch.

Wood Specifications:

Curved, Douglas Fir, Architectural Grade Glulam beams, with 24f-V8 Balanced Layup with Standard Moisture content. Distressed by the customer onsite by his fabricator.
