Goals:

To Custom fabricate expansive and interlocking Glued Laminated roof trusses to transform an existing building into a modern and public facing civic center. The expertly fabricated custom Glulam trusses allowed for an expansive open roof system that encouraged natural light to fill the space.

Achievements:

Fabricate and Deliver 11 Custom Glulam Trusses, Spanning 24-45’ in length. Generate 25 pages of detailed Glulam and Steel and Connection drawings, including both 2d and 3d views of the trusses. The trusses were then delivered assembled and being wrapped in water resistant paper arrived ready to be craned into the site. Extensive communication of onsite conditions and measurements was required to achieve the exacting fit required for these trusses.

Architectural Grade, Douglas Fir Glulam including 1/4“-3/4” thick Custom Steel Hardware.
